1) What makes PEC’s mission meaningful to you, and what interest you about serving on the PEC Board of Directors?

PEC’s mission is meaningful to me because it reflects a commitment to serving members, strengthening communities, and planning responsibly for the future. As a member-owned co-op, PEC plays a vital role in providing reliable and affordable electricity while remaining accountable to its members.

2)What education, skills, strengths or life experiences do you have that would benefit PEC?

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel, Restaurant, Tourism Management with a minor in Business and Marketing, which has given me a strong foundation in financial oversight strategic planning, and stakeholder communication. I previously served as a Leander ISD Board of Trustee, where I gained experience in public governance, policy oversight, and collaborative decision-making. My current service on the OneStar Board has strengthen leadership skills and commitment to community-focused service.

3)What other boards or committees have you served on or leadership positions have you held in the past?

OneStar Foundation Board Commissioner; Public Policy Committee Chair (2019 – Present)
Leander ISD Board Trustee (2018-2019)
Leander FFA Booster Club President (2025-2026)
Greater Leander FFA Vice-President (2023-2026)

4)Are you familiar with the elements of the cooperative business model?

Yes. I am familiar with the cooperative business model. Yes, I am familiar with the co-op business model.  A cooperative is owned by its members and exists to serve them, not outside shareholders.  In a electric co-op, that means focusing on reliability, affordability, and long-term stewardship. Board oversignt and member engagement are essential for the co-op to remain strong and accountable.

5)How would you approach working with your fellow PEC Board of Directors to achieve collaboration and consensus?

I would approach collaboration by building respectful relationships with fellow board members and focusing on what is best for PEC members. Listening to different perspectives and finding common ground is essential to earning trust and working effectively as a team. Strong relationships support productive discussions and lead to better decisions for PEC members.
